TEDx Centennial College of Toronto:
On The Verge

What if we were to consider the ambiguous space between idea and action? There is an unknown time where everything and nothing seem possible at the same time. Pictured above are my initial notes regarding what the theme of the TEDx event was about. Creating an opener for the event meant grasping the theme and relaying it in a fashion that would be understandable and interesting to garner attention from potential attendees. I then sketched out my storyboard to plan and finalize my opener animation with consideration for timing and transitions I had originally had in mind.

Ideas turned to action.

I wanted to encapsulate this concept with the emphasis on an idea that leads to action. Sometimes it takes one person's idea to fly and spread to others through the action of sharing. I wanted to implement space because I know for many people, it is symbolic of the unknown, but an unknown we are trying to know on the basis of an idea of life being out there in some capacity.

The more the merrier.

Creating the opener was just the beginning. I then wanted to task myself with producing collateral that fit within the same theme that could then be used to promote the event.
